Huo Shan Huang Ya

Huo Mountain's Yellow Buds is a rare yellow tea from Anhui Province in China, it is the Imperial Tribute
Tea and dates back to the Ming and Qing Dynasty. The processing method of this tea was said to be
lost and only to be re-discovered after the 70s. Since then, Huo Shan Huang Ya has been sent as
tribute to many great leaders of China every year. This tea won the Commercial Products of Good
Quality in 1990 and China's Tea Cup in 1999, just to name a few.

The dry tea leaves have a shiny appearance and are very similar to Huangshan Mao Feng (Yellow
Mountain's Fur Peak), when steeped the leaves reveal a very peppery and fresh taste accompanied by
an unusual green-yellow color of the brew. As with all mostly bud teas the color and fragrance are
slight.

To prepare Huo Mountain's
Yellow Buds, take 3-5g, brew with 85º water for 3-5 minutes. Re-steep as
desired.
