Dong Ting Bi Luo Chun
Bi Luo Chun is known as “Spring of Green Snail”. It is one of Chinese rare green teas with exceptional
quality well-known around the world. It was also the former Prime Minister of China, Zhou Enlai’s favourite
tea.

Bi Luo Chun, is delicate and moss-like, curled into snail like shapes.  Its tea trees grown in the mountains
around
Dongting Lake where is constantly shrouded in clouds and mist, giving the tea its unique and clean
flavor. It has slim and winding/spiral shape, greenish silver colour, refreshing and sweet taste and tender
green soup colour. Its leaf is so tender, even, and is heavily covered with very tiny white hair. The best grade
Bi Luo Chun is harvested around 1th April in the spring each year with the unopened bud and one leaf.
Each kilogram of this hand picked and made tea usually contains more than 120,000 tea buds. You could
feel the labour effort involved inside this tea. This treasured tea has a sweet fragrance. Once you taste our

This tea requires lower temperatures than that of average for green tea and sometimes must be steeped
uncovered. To prepare Bi Luo Chun, take 2-3g of tea leaves into a tea cup, and then steep with 70-80º water
for one minute or less.
