Keemun Black Tea is produced in country
Keemun in Anhui, China. Its history started from
1875. Keemun black tea is the one of the best three
high aroma teas in the world, along with Darjeeling
from India and Ceylon from Uva Sri Lanka. It won
the praise of “the Queen of Fragrance” and
rewarded with the name of “hero among the teas”.

The appearance of keemun black tea is slender
and elegant. The reddish brown tea liquor is tasted
heavily and brisk. The lasting strong aroma
resembling both aroma of fruit and that of rose is
the distinctive flavor of keemun, which named
“keemun flavour”.
The consumers of keemun black tea were limited to the British royal family and the upper class, during the
19th century. It is now particularly popular to ordinary British tea drinkers, with the affordable grades being
made. The high grade keemun black teas are particularly popular among the older British people as afternoon
tea or breakfast drink, or with milk and/or sugar. Some of them keep the tea in the big glass-made vases for
the indoor decoration.
